Absolutely! We are tired of all the liberals in Salem destroying our once lovely Oregon!

The once very beloved state of Oregon is just not so great any more. I thought I'd never consider moving away. I'm an Oregon resident since birth. I was proud to be an Oregonian. We have changed drastically. Sad, very heartbreaking 😢 💔

Portland and Salem dominate the state. We need to have our voices heard. This movement is not going to go away quietly.

the people want it. 1 county is making decisions for all the rest of the state and 90 plus percent of those counties disagree with those decisions and always have, always will and the divide is growing each year. Let the people go.

Western oregon and Portland could make policies they like without it affecting the more conservative half of the state. This is not "Idaho stealing your state", its part of the state you never go to anyhow, and its really "Oregonians wanting better policies for their land and liberty rights.

Suspiciously we can't seem to ever vote a Republican in as governor anymore and I don't buy that. Something is very fishy about elections in Oregon from city level to state level. I don't know about red states but it is now proven that blue states are fraught with election fraud. Lawsuits proved it.

As a Native Oregonian, I voted for and support the movement because Oregon government no longer represents my values or appreciates the businesses and industries that made Oregon great. Oregon is a cesspool of Socialism, drug addiction and crime. Government schools are an abject failure.

Rural Eastern Oregon have values and traditions that do not fit with mostly the Portland area influences. Urban Oregon and rural areas have grown apart and the rural areas have little representation in the state government. Time for a divorce!

This is insane. Idaho wants to steal our state. Outragous, unethical and quite frankly, highly improbable. Good grief; put on your thinking caps, people!

Not insane. Please don't insult the good people looking for relief. Idaho is NOT trying to steal anything. This ideas is born from East Oregonians. If you are repressed for as long as rural Oregonians have with little to no chance of changing their power in the legislature you resort to new ideas.

Idaho is not steeling anything! The East of the Cascade sane people are tired of the Socialist Democrats in Salem ignoring Eastern Oregon. Bend will soon be Mini Portland the way transplants from the west /south are moving in and voting for socialist democrats who love government dictatorship.

If you want to live in ID, then move. We left Idaho because we didn't like living there. We moved back to Oregon because we love it HERE, not there.

If Republicans put up decent candidates, then they might win more elections. They messed up starting with Bill Sizemore and they've done nothing but go downhill ever since.

Democracy isn't a one way street. The territories were claimed hundreds of yrs ago. It's settled borders. I believe that state legislature could work better together. This idea would cause the entire country to recalculate their borders based on political believe. I'd like to re-write the bible.

12 Counties sounds like a lot. However, the total population in those counties only makes up for about 9% of the Oregon population. Figuring about 60% voted yes, this is a rather radical change to apease only 5% of the OR population.

I agree with you but for some strange reason when liberals take over you can never seem to get them out. They always seem "to win by a narrow margin". 🤔 If the rural counties want to be part of Idaho what should it matter? Many are tired of the totalitarian dictatorship of liberals.

Piping the canals to conserve water is the logical next step. Where does Commissioner Adair think the wildlife got a drink before the canals were made over 100 years ago? I will admit reducing Junipers and reinvigorating our wild grasslands makes sense.

The canals were not put in as "water features" for people's backyards. Build your own water feature and pay for the water. This water is meant for agriculture.

Commission Adair, where do you think wildlife get water when irrigation water is off Oct-March? Please share your plan and funding strategy for removing 5 million juniper trees. What will happen to the wildlife that live in those trees. Your argument is weak.

Why do Bend residence have to accommodate Jefferson county. I'm sure someone up there can figure a way go pump the water they need out of Lake Billy Chinook

Wildlife has relied on these open canals for decades. There is no other option for critter water.
