FB is less anonymous, so reduces the likelihood of sales falling through and gives the seller some credibility. The group setup is more organized so buyers don't have to wade through so many posts to make a purchase.

People want to post and sell a product online just as if they were selling it on the street, just with a larger audience. The anonymity on Craigslist brings too much appeal to people. If you don't want people to know exactly who you are and possibly where you are, it's simply a better option. Even for non-shady business this can be a benefit.
