I am not from KC, but this type of data has to be encrypted in a way to keep an individual's information private. This will be an important issue in '16 and beyond, but I think it's safe.

It's good to be aware of what's being collected. I think the parties involved should error on the side of caution and will look to keep their good name. We'd love to see SquareOffs on the kiosks!
